  Our Wild Caught Marine Collagen Powder has 2 ingredients: The first is Fish Collagen Type 1 & 3. The second ingredient is Fish Collagen Type 2.

• What’s the difference between standard Vitamin D and Vitamin D3?

  Vitamin D comes in two forms: Vitamin D2 and Vitamin D3. At Truvani, we use Vitamin D3. Here’s why: Vitamin D2 is metabolized differently in the liver than Vitamin D3. D2 may not be as effective at raising the Vitamin D in your blood levels. *

• Why don’t other brands use plant-based Vitamin D3?

  It comes down to cost and compromise. Plant-based Vitamin D3 from lichens is a lot more expensive to produce and source than animal-sourced D3. So, most brands don’t consider it “worth it” to use plant-based D3 (even though it’s a superior option) because it will hurt their bottom line.
