  Our Wild Caught Marine Collagen Powder has 2 ingredients: The first is Fish Collagen Type 1 & 3. The second ingredient is Fish Collagen Type 2.

• What’s the difference between standard Vitamin D and Vitamin D3?

  Vitamin D comes in two forms: Vitamin D2 and Vitamin D3. At Truvani, we use Vitamin D3. Here’s why: Vitamin D2 is metabolized differently in the liver than Vitamin D3. D2 may not be as effective at raising the Vitamin D in your blood levels. *

• Why don’t other brands use plant-based Vitamin D3?

  It comes down to cost and compromise. Plant-based Vitamin D3 from lichens is a lot more expensive to produce and source than animal-sourced D3. So, most brands don’t consider it “worth it” to use plant-based D3 (even though it’s a superior option) because it will hurt their bottom line. At Truvani, our number one priority will always be using only the best ingredients available. Period. So for us, choosing to source from lichens was a no-brainer.

• How much Vitamin D do I get in each tablet?

  2000 IU, which is 250% of the recommended daily intake (so you’re super covered).

• How many tablets do I get in each bottle?

  30 tablets… a one month’s supply.

• How do I take Truvani’s Bottled Sunshine?

  Take one tablet daily with food.

• Is it Certified Organic and Non-GMO?

  Yes, it is USDA Certified Organic and does not contain any GMO ingredients.

• Why is Bottled Sunshine in tablet form and not capsule?

  Again, it all comes down to keeping things simple for you. There’s no absorption-benefit to taking Vitamin D3 in a capsule, so we decided on an uncoated tablet to eliminate the unnecessary ‘capsule’ ingredient.
